READER FRIENDLY INGREDIENT LISTS
The HerbJar is a 100% natural skin care range. The only ingredients we allow in our formulations are vegetal extracts, oils, butters and beeswax. The products are water free, and therefore self-preserved (as microbes cannot grow without water). We do not use any preservative, emulsifiers, or any other synthetic additive of any kind. All our products are fragrance free.
The range has been on the market since 2010. Our most loyal customers are people with sensitive or problem skin. They can easily tell the difference between a product made entirely of healthy ingredients and the additive-loaded face creams that are still mainstream skin care, despite the fact that 'natural' products have become more trendy over the years.
WHAT WILL YOU FIND IN A HERBJAR PRODUCT?
These are ingredients you will find across our range:
Vegetal butters, oils and waxes - e.g. Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Jojoba etc
Plant extracts known to benefit the skin - e.g. chamomile extract, marigold extract
We only use the safest natural ingredients, taking into account not only traditional natural remedies, but also the findings of modern research. Wherever possible, we favour ingredients that are actually edible, on the principle that if it's safe to eat, then it's safe to put on your skin.
"The HerbJar is the most anti-ageing skin care range I have ever tried. It has clearly improved my skin, even to the point of changing my foundation as the original one felt too heavy and I did not need the coverage. It is such a pleasure using The HerbJar for facials and the results are outstanding. My clients have noticed it, and they are asking to buy the products to use at home."

As there are no synthetic chemicals in our skin care products, the ingredient lists are much easier to read and understand than most skin care labels.
We do not test on animals.
The only ingredient of animal origin we ever use is beeswax, not only because it's great for the skin, but supporting bee keepers is good for the environment.
